# Terms of Use

These terms cover the website only. They are not a construction contract.

These terms govern your use of this website. Content here is informational and does not constitute a bid, quote, warranty or engineering advice. All work is performed under a separate written agreement, and any pricing requires a written quote based on actual site conditions.

## Acceptance

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

These terms are reviewed periodically and the current version is the one published on this page.

## This site is informational, not an offer

Descriptions of services, capabilities, methods and processes on this website are general information. They are not an offer, a bid, a quote, a warranty or a guarantee of any particular result.

No dollar figures, rates or price ranges are published anywhere on this site. Any pricing requires a written quote prepared against your actual scope and site conditions. If you have seen a figure attributed to this company that did not come from a written quote, it did not come from us.

Nothing here constitutes professional engineering advice. Technical content is written to help a reader understand how outside plant work is performed. It is not a substitute for a licensed engineer's design or judgment on your specific project.

## Work is performed under a separate agreement

Any work performed by Strilla Communications Company is governed by a separate written agreement between the parties. That agreement, and not this website, defines scope, price, schedule, warranty, liability and every other commercial term.

Submitting a bid request through this site does not create a contract, reserve capacity or oblige either party to proceed. Where a page on this site and a signed agreement say different things, the signed agreement controls.

## What you agree to when you submit a bid request

When you submit the bid form, you confirm that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you have the right to share any plans or drawings you attach.

Uploaded files are used to prepare a response to your request. They are handled as described in the Privacy Policy. If a drawing set carries confidentiality conditions from its owner, tell us before sending it so those conditions can be respected.

## Permitted use

You may view, print and share this content for legitimate business purposes, including evaluating us as a contractor and sharing pages with colleagues.

You may not use the site to attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, submit false or misleading information, upload malicious files, or extract content at scale in a way that degrades service for others.

## Intellectual property

The text, layout, graphics and structure of this website are owned by Strilla Communications Company or used under license. Photographic images may be licensed stock imagery and may not depict this company's own personnel, equipment or projects. Where an image is representative rather than a record of our work, it is not presented as a project photograph.

The checklists provided in the resources section may be downloaded, printed and used freely in your own projects. Attribution is appreciated and not required. Quoting short passages of other content with a link back is welcome. Republishing whole pages as your own is not.

## Third party links

Links to third party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

## Availability and accuracy

We aim to keep this site available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every detail is current at all times. Service descriptions, capabilities and process descriptions may change without notice.

Technical guidance on this site describes general practice. Permit conditions, depth of cover, clearances and restoration standards are set by the authority and the agreement for each project, and those documents take priority over anything written here.

## Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Strilla Communications Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Any limitation of liability for construction work is set out in the written agreement for that work, not in these website terms.

## Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from use of this website is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts located in Florida.

## Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The version published on this page is the current one.

## Key takeaways

- Nothing on the Strilla Communications website is a bid, a quote, an offer or a warranty.
- All construction work is governed by a separate written agreement, which controls if it differs from anything on the website.
- No prices, rates or ranges are published on this site, and any figure requires a written quote against actual site conditions.
- Technical guidance on the site describes general practice and is not a substitute for a licensed engineer's judgment.

## Key terms

**Written agreement**: The signed contract for a specific scope of work. It defines price, schedule, warranty, liability, insurance requirements and dispute terms. It is the document that governs construction, and it takes priority over any general statement made on a website or in marketing material.

**Written quote**: A priced proposal prepared against a defined scope and the actual conditions of a route, including crossings, surfaces, restoration standard and documentation level. It is the only source of a Strilla price, and it becomes binding only through a signed agreement.

**Engineer of record**: The licensed professional engineer responsible for a project's design. Design decisions such as depth of cover, alignment and structure placement belong to the engineer of record and the permitting authority, not to general guidance published by a contractor.

## Frequently Asked Questions

**Is anything on this website a binding quote?**: No. Nothing on this site is a bid, quote or offer, and no pricing is published anywhere on it. Any price for actual work comes from a written quote prepared against your specific scope and site conditions, and any work performed is governed by a separate written agreement rather than by these terms.

**Can I use your checklists on my own projects?**: Yes. The bid request, project readiness and closeout checklists are provided to be used. Download them, print them, adapt them and apply them to projects that have nothing to do with us. They are not gated behind a form and there is no requirement to credit us, though it is appreciated.

**Do the photographs on this site show your own projects?**: Not currently. Images are licensed stock photography selected to represent the type of work described, and they are not presented as records of this company's projects. As real project photography becomes available it will replace the placeholders, and project imagery will be identified as such.

**Does submitting the bid form commit us to anything?**: No. A bid request starts a conversation. It does not create a contract, reserve crew capacity or oblige either party to go ahead. Commitments come only from a signed written agreement that sets out scope, price, schedule and the other commercial terms for the specific work.

**Can I rely on technical guidance from this site in my design?**: Use it to understand how the work is done, not as a design input. Depth of cover, clearances and restoration standards come from the permit, the engineer of record and the project agreement. Where those differ from general guidance on this site, the project documents control, and a licensed engineer should make design decisions.

**Which law applies to these terms?**: Florida law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes arising from use of the website fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Florida. Construction work is different: it is governed by whatever the signed agreement for that work says about law, venue and dispute resolution.
